Ways I can help
Every person's path to healing looks different. I offer a range of therapeutic approaches so we can find what works best for you.
Individual Therapy
Life can feel heavy — anxiety, grief, transitions, or simply the sense that something isn't right. Individual therapy offers a confidential, unhurried space to explore what's beneath the surface and find your way forward. Together, we'll work at your pace, with your goals at the center.
Sessions are 50 minutes. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, trauma, and relationship challenges.
Couples & Family Counseling
Relationships take work, and asking for help is a sign of strength. Whether you're navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, or simply wanting to communicate better, couples and family counseling creates a neutral space where every voice is heard and every person matters.
Sessions are 50–80 minutes depending on the format. I work with couples and families at any stage — from early tension to long-standing patterns.
Animal Assisted Therapy
Animals have a remarkable ability to create connection, ease anxiety, and open doors that words alone sometimes can't. Animal assisted therapy incorporates trained therapy animals into the counseling process — offering a gentle, grounding presence that can make the work feel more natural and less daunting.
Available as an add-on to individual sessions. Particularly helpful for anxiety, trauma, and clients who find traditional talk therapy difficult to engage with.
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a research-backed approach designed to help people heal from trauma, distressing memories, and the lasting effects of difficult experiences. Rather than talking through the past in detail, EMDR works with the brain's natural healing process — helping painful memories lose their grip so you can move forward with more ease.
EMDR is typically integrated into individual therapy sessions. It is especially effective for PTSD, trauma, phobias, and anxiety rooted in past experiences.
Common questions
Do you accept insurance?
I am currently an in-network provider for BCBS, Medica, Health Partners, United Health Care, UMR, and Medicaid. I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Please contact me to discuss fees and options.
How long does therapy take?
There's no one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients find meaningful progress in a few months; others benefit from longer-term support. We'll check in regularly and adjust as your needs evolve.
What can I expect in a first session?
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll ask about what brings you in, your history, and what you're hoping to get from therapy. It's also a time for you to ask questions and see if we're a good fit.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes, I offer secure video sessions for clients who prefer to meet remotely or are unable to come in person.
Not sure where to start?
That's completely okay. Reach out and we'll figure it out together.
